“The samara seed pattern appears on Wright’s perforated board design for the house, and perhaps most prominently on a rug commissioned by Professor Christian in the 1990s and designed by Taliesin’s Aris Georges and Cornelia Brierly. That rug was the inspiration for Motawi Tileworks’ 4x12 Samara art tile, which reinterprets Wright’s pattern once again in ceramic.” - Motawi Tileworks
